IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ENTRANTS:
It is essential that at the point of entering YCYW online, you ensure that you will be available to take part in the Final Competition in Dubai: including outbound travel to the UAE on Sunday 14 November and inbound travel to the UK on Wednesday 17 November 2021.
Our online entry is a simple 2-step process.
Before you start, we recommend you read the instructions below. It may look like lots of info but we guarantee it will be hugely helpful with your entry.
First you register: name, email, create a password and accept our Terms & Conditions (which can be viewed here)
You’ll receive an email which contains an account confirmation link. You can use this to link to edit and update your profile – this is handy if you don’t wish to complete your entry in one go.
If you entered Young Chef Young Waiter 2020 (Entrants and Finalists from last year), you do not need to register again – you can just log in with the email and password you used last time.
Next you ‘Start new entry’ to fill in your submission: you can continue completing this immediately after you’ve registered; you don’t need to wait for the email confirmation.
All of the fields except the social media and last question are required fields. They need to be filled in before the Judges can review your entry (but you don’t need to complete everything at once)

Video link: Our judges would like to get to know you so please make a short video of no more than 3 mins capturing your answers to the questions:
Please upload your video to YouTube so you can provide us with the link.
If you’ve never uploaded video before, it couldn’t be easier and takes no time at all:
Please note: video must be provided as a link so that our judges can view it in your entry. We cannot accept video files.
Recent Photo: Please upload a recent personal or professional image of yourself
Questions: Tell us more about yourself in your written answers to these questions in approximately 200 words or less.
Once you’ve happy with everything you’ve written and you’ve provided your documents, video and photo, you’re ready to submit your entry.
We wish you the best of luck!
*Please note: your entry becomes valid when it has been approved by the Nth Degree, the organisers of YCYW UK and YCYW C&SEA. We will only notify your entry if there are any issues. If there aren’t any issues, your entry will be approved without further confirmation notification.
