To enter, first register online with your contact details and accept the Terms & Conditions. Then, start a new entry by choosing your country and category, and complete the required fields. You will have to submit answers to a series of questions, photo identity proof, right-to-work documentation, and an optional video to enhance your application.
No kind of payment is needed for the Competition. YYY is only opened to and is free for Young Chefs, Young Waiters and Young Mixologists who are 28 years old or under.
The closing dates for 2024 entries will be different for each country so check your chosen countries page for further details. Application’s typically close one month before the competition date.
You can only represent the country where you are currently living and working. This designation will not change, even if you move to a different country after your application or during the competition.

The competition is open to Young Chefs, Young Waiters, and Young Mixologists who are 28 years old or under. Entrants must have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a hospitality establishment in their respective roles.
Yes, participants must be currently employed in a hospitality establishment to be eligible for the competition.
The official language of the Competition is English, therefore it’s important that participants can express themselves in spoken and written English. While participants can apply in any language, it is preferred that applications be submitted in English. It is best if candidates can express themselves in English to ensure clear communication.
We collect personal information to verify age, identity, and professional roles of all participants. Rest assured, we handle your information with the utmost care and confidentiality, employing robust security measures to always protect it. The online application platform, Awards Force, is data protected.
The organisers will arrange all ingredients for the competition, these will either be supplied through F&B sponsorship, partnership, or the venue. However, depending on the specific challenge, participants may be allowed to bring ‘rare’ or unique items. This allowance must be confirmed and approved by the organisers in advance. It’s important to note that pre-made, pre-cooked ingredients, and perishable good are strictly prohibited.

Yes. The competition is designed to provide participants the chance to interact with the judges and their peers during the final events.
Our media partners will ensure that all winners, runners-up, and participants gain exposure both before and after the competition. Additionally, finalists will receive continuous support from YYY even after the competition ends, benefiting from the extensive network they connected with during the event.
Yes, chefs in the pastry sector are allowed to participate. However, please note, chefs will be required to create a three-course meal, including a starter and a main course, as well as any other additional challenges presented during the competition.
According to the rules we cannot accept your application as a food blogger.
Young Chefs selected for the Regional Finals will have to create 5 dishes. 4 dishes will be for VIP Guests and one dish will be for judging.
