At our Restaurant Association Gala Dinner in February 2019, diners were invited to play a game of Heads and Tails with the winner awarded a luxury seven night holiday to the Cayman Islands.
The lucky winner was Charlotte Theaker, who beat out the competition to win the luxury stay at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa on the world renowned Seven Mile Beach, and return flights from London; the prize included a dinner for two at the Wharf oceanside restaurant overlooking George Town harbour under the stars.
Charlotte was also given the opportunity to have an adventure for two on the Atlantis Submarine, experiencing the thrill of journeying beneath the Caribbean Sea for an amazing underwater sightseeing excursion, and entrance for two to the national historic site, Pedro St James, an 18th century great house that offers a window into times gone by.
When asked about her time in the Cayman Islands, Charlotte said:
“We had a really wonderful week in Cayman. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the staff could not have been nicer / friendlier or more helpful. We organised a few day trips – stringray city, royal botanical gardens, rum point , starfish point – so also had the opportunity to experience some of the Island and it was fantastic. I look forward to visiting again!”
Once again the year, the Cayman Islands are giving away flights and accommodation for a coveted holiday to the Cayman Islands for two lucky winners during our Restaurant Association Dinner Gala event on Monday, February 24th 2020. Diners will be invited to play the game Heads and Tails by paying £30 for their entry which goes directly to the Hospitality Action Charity, which works to provide hospitality workers with financial, physical and psychological support to help them overcome adversity and get back to work as quickly as possible.
