Young Chef Young Waiter England will be back again this July, hosted at The University College of Birmingham and The International Convention Centre, Birmingham. YCYW England will be open to all chefs and waiters working in England who can now apply for 2023 with the extended age range of 28 years and under.
The winners will be announced after taking part in a one-day live final at University College of Birmingham on the 4th of July 2023. Competitors from other regions in the UK are encouraged to enter YCYW England, Wales, and Ireland. The digital entries and competition day will be judged by leading figures from the hospitality industry.
Our inspirational judging panel includes head chef judge Adam Handling and head waiter judge Simon King. They will be supported by judges including Jason Atherton, Clare Smyth MBE, Mario Perera, Michael Kwan, Andy Downton, Johanna Wimmer and other big names in hospitality. The winning England Chef and England Waiter will then go on to compete in the World Young Chef Young Waiter Finals in November 2023.
