Organized by Macau Culinary Association, supported by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Macao Institute For Tourism Studies (IFTM) and Wynn, the winners of the 2022 Young Chef Young Waiter Macau competition have been announced.
William, Wang Weicheng (Wynn Macau) and Mondass Velautham (Wynn Palace) are the proud winners as Young Chef and Young Waiter champions of the YCYW Macau competition 2022 respectively.
They will go on to represent Macau in Monaco during 9-18 November 2022 to complete in the World Finals of the YCYW 2022 competition, where they will design a winning menu and serve their national dishes to an internationally acclaimed judging panel headed up by Michelin-starred Chef Jason Atherton.
There will be an Olympic style celebration in the evening at The Maybourne Riviera to crown the winning Chef and Waiter, with the VIP guest of honour who heads up the Monaco principality.
